Colleen Niedermayer

I'm running for Mayor of Mason City and would like to ask you for your vote.  I want to listen to  all the citizens of Mason City and improve our community for today and the future of our city. My plan is to improve communication, focus on more opportunities for children and young people, promote Mason City while focusing on our big and small businesses, and making our city better for all of our citizens.

So you can get to know me better, I have a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. After graduation I went to work for Lehigh Cement Company in Union Bridge, MD for two years. I was then transferred here to the Mason City plant 13 years ago where I am the Quality Control Manager. My family and I are members of the First Congregational Church where I am on the Board of Trustees and the Reserve Fund Committee.

I am proud to call Mason City my home and I've already heard lots of good ideas from people that will help grow and move our community towards a brighter future. Thank you
